46, single, and technically retired. In reality, I am going through a career change. I happen to be in school full-time, working on a second Bachelors degree. I have a passion for interior design, a love of architecture, and an insatiable appetite for snatching up anything ‘artsy.’ I enjoy traveling ~ have seen many parts of Europe three and four times over. Now Hawaii is my new favorite place. I would like to think that people close to me see me as a compassionate, generous, trustworthy, definitively loyal, genuine, and an individual worth having as a friend. But hey…that’s for me to think and you to discover!

    Hey Tony,

thanks for the comment…to answer your question on the blog, that shot was taken from my slice of home…your looking south toward Saddle Mountain and that is the Pend Oreille River keeping everything at a distance…the river is one of three that flows north into Canada and her headwaters are in Montana near Butte and West Glacier…

Anyway appreciate the new blog and wish you great success with it…

    Hi fellow,

Another Tony from Belgium spotted your nice “self-presantation”. I’m 45 years old and it seems we are a bit similar – inside and outside. I’m still working in office… I have no special goal in writing this. It struck me we have the same interests. I have a huge collection of documentaries (geography, history etc.), but also humour series (like One foot in the grave with Victor Meldrew)… I do a lot of walking in nature and in cities, as Belgium is a bit in the middle of Europe. Could we become e-mail penpals?

    Hi, Tony,
Just a note at the end of the year to say that I keep hoping to read more of your blog. I’ve enjoyed it over the period of time that I’ve known about it. I met you in Canada when a group of us got together for Bear Week in Toronto in 2006. I was with Sean and Jeffrey. Hope you are well and that you get a chance to write more in 2009.
